have you guys heard of Beauty Box 5? they’re a monthly subscription service that delivers 4-5 products to your doorstep for you to try. they have great brands like Cetaphil, it’s a 10, and Bodyography. i received a box to review for you guys, so here’s what i think.
one of my favorite features of the box was that they include a little postcard with a list of the products included in the box. the product uses and retail prices are also listed. my first thought was to look at the prices and see if it was worth $12 a month…well, it is.
as far as the products go, i found 4/5 of them to actually be something i would use. the only one i wasn’t sold on was the lip pencil. mostly because i’ve never used a lip pencil before and i’m usually a chapstick kind of girl. other than that, i thought the products were useful and i like trying new brands. my favorite thing was the brush hanger, which is for hanging your makeup brushes after you clean them to ensure that you don’t damage your brushes by letting water sit in them (if you just lay them on a towel after cleaning).
i like that there was a tool, two makeup products, and two general care products in there – they offer a great variety!
i’d have to get a couple more boxes to know if it’s something that i would continue with, but the first box was a good indication that it could definitely be something i’d sign up for!
