Fall Boots

1 / 2 / 3 / 4 / 5 / 6

one of the things that i’m most excited about as a returning Midwesterner is real, true Fall fashion. the Fall season in North Carolina is beautiful, but i always felt a little funny dressing in true fall clothes when it was still 70 degrees in november. however, that will probably not be the case in good ole’ Chicago, so i’ll get to bust out my fall boots and wear them earlier than i’m used to. which is awesome.

you all know that i love Target, right? i could, quite honestly, probably shop only there for the rest of my life and be a happy little camper. i particularly love their shoe department. they’ve really stepped up their fall shoe game and are offering pretty much every type of boot you could ever need. i’m the proud owner of numbers 3, 4, and 6 above, and will most likely definitely be adding to my collection as the season goes on. what i love about all of these boots is that they’re all so versatile. they’re a mix of casual and dressy, feminine and edgy, black and brown. all good things.

i’m really into ankle boots these season, so i have a feeling i’ll be wearing those until it just gets too darn cold. i like to pair mine with my favorite skinny jeans or thick leggings. they’re also great to throw on with tights and a dress.

what’s your favorite style of boot?

Love this! Right now I have one pair of boots that go to just below my knee. Looking to buy some more. I've always been afraid of ankle boots, but maybe I'll have to step out of my comfort zone and try them. 🙂
