i tend to be relatively on top of my game when it comes to gift-giving and timeliness. this year, in fact, i gave my mom her gift 2 weeks early because i knew i wouldn’t see her again until after Mother’s Day. i know, i know, that’s impressive 😉
i like to give gifts that are themed – things that relate to each other. i can sometimes be overwhelmed by the prospect of picking out something for somebody, so it helps to have an idea or a category to choose from, like travel items, desk accessories, etc. my mom really loves her workspace at home, so i bought her a cute patterned mug and a fun notepad for her to set at her desk.
