My Most-Used Lip Products

if there’s one makeup product that i get the most use out of, it would be things for my lips. and under eye concealer because, hello, who doesn’t look better without bags?!

since some time in middle school, i’ve been that girl that always has chapstick in-hand (or pocket, more accurately). they say it’s an addiction, and i don’t necessarily agree, but is there anything worse than the feeling of dry lips? yes, so many things are worse than that. you’re right. but it’s still pretty obnoxious. so, my solution is to just have a pile of moisturizers, balms, masks, and treatments with me at all times.
i’ve been a fan of Bite Beauty for awhile now. they’re colors are beautiful, formulas are spot on, and they last long on my lips. the Bite Beauty Lush Lip Tint in Lychee is my favorite every day lip color. it adds a little bit of a neutral pink hue, while also moisturizing my lips and not letting them dry out. another favorite is the Bite Beauty BB for Lips in Natural (unavailable online) in place of a standard chapstick. i use the Bite Beauty Agave Lip Mask at night to replenish!
as far as colors go, i’m definitely a pink girl. i’ve found that a brighter, more hot pink looks better on me than a coral or red, so that’s what i go with. i love the Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment in Tulip for just a little bit of color. i’ve recently become a MAC convert, so i’ve been wearing the MAC Cremesheen Lipstick in Star Magnolia on repeat. it’s the perfect shade of pink, long-lasting and moisturizing (which is hard to find in a lipstick)!
for days when i’m feeling just a little less pink, i go with Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Crush or Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey. the crush color is a really pretty berry color, but goes on sheer enough that it’s not too bold of a lip. and the honey adds just a little pit of a pinky-mauve tone to add a little life!

I was going to comment and say that I also have a "chap stick" addiction! If I go for a little while without it, I struggle!! Then I remembered that I can blame you for that! You always talked about the burts bees pomegranate thing, and so I asked for it for one year. Addicted to lip balm ever since! Also, I just bought the revlon Crush yesterday! Such a pretty color!

Too funny – sorry for the addiction 😉 I do love that stuff still, too!

Amen sister, amen. I'm more of a gloss girl, but I also CAN NOT do dry, bare lips. I don't understand those strange, twisted people who are just fine without even so much as a swipe of chapstick….

Agreed! I'm impressed that you're a gloss girl – my hair always gets stuck in it!

I just started using Sugar in plum. That with a lip liner looks good! I also use the EOS balm when my lips really need some help-also under lipstick.

I apply lip balm like it's a religion haha. I have to have one with me at all times, or else I feel as if I have just been dropped into the middle of the saharan desert.

Haha totally know how your feel. At least we're not dramatic about it, right? 😉
