Beauty Products I’m Enjoying Right Now

i’ve been using a couple new beauty products that i’ve really been enjoying that past couple weeks. when the weather starts warming up, i like to try for more natural, lighter make-up. my skin is usually clearer in the spring and summer, so i don’t feel like i need quite as much foundation to achieve the look that i like. i find myself reaching for more tinted balms and sheer lipsticks over highly-pigmented lip colors, too.

after hearing my sister rave about the Dior Addict Lip Glow in Lilac for literally years, i finally ordered it when i was restocking some of my go-to products, and i have to say, the rumors are true. this lip balm is fantastic. it’s moisturizing, goes on so smooth, and adds just the right amount of color. it’s beautiful on its own or paired with a more sheer lipstick. it seems to be out of stock everywhere (not surprising), but is definitely worth trying out when it’s restocked, if you like tinted balms.

you guys know that i love IT Cosmetics. i currently use their Bye Bye Pores Anti-Aging Powder and Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer. when i heard good reviews about their CC cream, i decided to give it a shot. i first tried the CC+ Cream Illumination because i like a dewy, glowy look. it goes on smooth, provides really good coverage, and helps protect my skin against sun damage, which i love. the Illumination version definitely provides a glow, so if you prefer a flatter foundation, i’d recommend the Your Skin But Better CC Cream. it’s the same thing, just without the shimmer. i prefer applying foundation with a brush/beauty blender, so i picked up the Airbrush Blurring Foundation Brush, No. 101 and it works really well with the CC Cream. it cuts my application time by half and reassures me that everything is blended in well.
i’m mostly excited to use this through the summer because of the coverage it provides and skin protecting elements. it will be perfect for going to the beach or spending the day outside because i can avoid irritating my skin with standard SPF and still feel protected.
the last (and best) thing that i’ve tried and love is Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz. i was using the Brow Powder Duo, but i don’t think it even compares to the Brow Wiz. the brush helps to get your brows all straightened out and where you want them, then you use the ultra-fine pencil to line/fill in, and the brush (again) to create a really natural look. it’s precise and easy, which are two things that i like to look for when it comes to my brows. i would highly recommend this one to anyone that has sparse brows that need a little extra help!

It can really make a difference in how you look! Plus, I find it way easier to use than other kinds of brow products.

A really good- almost better drugstore dupe for the brow wiz is the l'oreal brow stylist definer. Just thought I'd share!

At first glance the L'oreal Brow Stylist Definer seems to be an excellent dupe for the Anastasia Brow Wiz, but I find it much less pigmented. It doesn't apply color as effortlessly as the Brow Wiz.

I am LOVING the ABH triangular brow pencil. It is amazing!! BEST brow pencil I've ever used! The triangular shape makes it so easy to fill in the the sparse areas on the inner and outer parts of my brow. If you like the brow wiz, trust me, you'll love the angled pencil!
