guys. i slept for 10 hours last night. TEN. i haven’t done that in a very, very long time. i feel like a new person, truly. it’s a good thing that i’m feeling rested because i have a literal pile of work sitting right in front of me, so it’s going to be a busy day. it’s also going to be a bed-head, yoga pants, no makeup kind of day, so i’m sharing this outfit with you to make myself feel better.
i love white (or winter white) denim. it’s one of my favorite non-blue jean kinds of pants. whenever i slip a pair on, i automatically feel a little more sophisticated (and a lot more aware of what i sit on). i do like to style them in a way that doesn’t necessarily scream, “SHE’S WEARING WHITE PANTS!” pairing them with other neutrals helps them to blend in a little bit more than, say, wearing a hot pink top and cobalt blue flats. ya know what i mean?
my favorite oatmeal tunic (it also comes in lavender, black, and charcoal), a hunter green utility jacket, and cognac flats were just the ticket for this day. have a little fun with the accessories, like subtle cat eye sunglasses or statement earrings, and that’s all it takes!
