Mike and I had some time together on Friday night, which is always a warm welcome after not seeing each other much during the workweek. We picked up some takeout and watched some basketball at his apartment. Sunday was filled with brunch with my girlfriends, walking to enjoy the beautiful weather with Mike and winding down at home to prep for another week. I was able to steal a few hours to myself on Saturday afternoon to do absolutely nothing and it was the best.
I love to be able to get out and do things on the weekends, especially since I spend my entire week in my apartment for work. That being said, I’m definitely a homebody, so I can really get into a lazy Saturday afternoon at home – sipping coffee, reading magazines, or catching up on one of our shows. This particular weekend, my downtime was spent stuffing and stamping our wedding invitations (!!!). It was the perfect amount of time to recharge and completely relax, before going to Saturday night church and spending the rest of the evening with Mike.
