Saturday Style

I worked a good portion of the weekend, but that was in preparation for having a very short week. I’m heading out to the suburbs on Thursday, when my sister and nephews come to town. Mike and I both worked Sunday and Monday, but had such a pleasant day off on Saturday. We ran some errands, had lunch by the lake, walked through the zoo (one of our favorite things to do on a nice day) and spent the evening catching up on one of our shows that we watch together. It was wonderful to be out enjoying the warm weather. More pleasant than that, though, was having an entire day being just us. Wedding planning/preparation has been overwhelming at times, so it was nice to just be able to relax together.
