I’m so excited because this weekend is our camping trip! My husband and I will be meeting up with my sister and her family up here in Northern Virginia for a Fall-filled weekend. We’re staying in a cabin on the water, fully stocked with our own fire pit and front porch. We planned this trip well over a month ago, so I’ve been anxiously awaiting its arrival.
We used to go camping every Summer as kids and those are some of my best memories from childhood. There’s nothing like waking up and sitting around a campfire, cooking breakfast the old-fashioned way, just enjoying nature and quiet. The weather should be perfect, too!
