Coffee Conversations

We just got back from NYC a couple days ago and we’re back on the road this morning, heading to my sister’s house for the weekend! Mike and Justin (my brother-in-law) are doing a little hiking/camping weekend, so I’m tagging along to hang with my sister and nephews.

NYC was great!  We were there for about 48 hours, which ended up being the perfect amount of time for us. We went to Chelsea Market, the 9/11 Memorial/Museum, saw Blue Man Group perform, and ate lots of delicious food. Obviously, there are a ton of other things we would’ve loved to have done, but I’m sure we’ll make our way back to the city soon. I’d love to take Mike when it’s warmer, so that we can spend a bit more time outside, too.

I’m craving a big hair change. I used to change my hair, and change it pretty dramatically, every few months. I’d either go for a dramatic cut or change the color up. A year or two ago, I decided to just let it do it’s thing – I liked it and didn’t have to think about doing anything. I returned to mostly my natural color and let it grow, grow, grow to wear it is today. I like my hair, don’t get me wrong, but I also feel like I want a change! I didn’t do the “chop your hair off after your wedding” thing that a lot of brides do – I feel like it’s hitting me 6 months later. I love this color and this length.

You wouldn’t know it from my job, but I don’t wear a lot of jewelry on a daily basis. However, I have been wearing these studs the last few days and love them. They’re simple and minimal with just enough style.

I started listening to Atlanta Monster on our drive to NYC and am hoping to get caught up today. I’m liking it, although I’m not as sucked in as I was hoping to be. Maybe that will change!

How cute is this top?!

If you’re in the market for a serum, might I suggest this liquid gold? I just restocked on it. Love it!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Some people can pull off short hair so well, and you defiantly can! Go for it! ๐Ÿ™‚

I'm in the same situation with my hair! I've been going back and forth for weeks. The last time I got it done, I used a picture of your hair for inspiration so I may just continue to copy you!

Someday I will make it to NYC…someday.

I was actually one of those brides that chopped off all her hair after her wedding but I did that – I would let it grow out & then donate it. I too love to change things up with my hair & have actually been already thinking about my next color. ๐Ÿ™‚
