Coffee Conversations

Happy last Friday of February! That’s pretty wild, right? I was firmly in the camp of, “January lasted three months”, but now February has absolutely flown by. I’m hoping March feels a little more balanced.

Have you been watching the Olympics? It took me awhile, but I’m pretty into watching them now! Some of the events, especially the short track and the snowboarding, give me so much anxiety, but it’s really cool to watch people compete for something they’ve worked so hard for. I’m bummed that there are only a few days left – I enjoy watching it in the evenings!

I shared the devotional I’ve been using on my InstaStories earlier this week and received a few questions, so I thought I’d share on here. I have this journaling Bible and am currently doing this devotional. I’ve done one of them before and enjoyed it, so I was happy to receive this new one as a gift!

With each new season, I get the urge to mix things up with our decor. Usually, it just means rearranging a room or buying something small to replace an old decorative item. This time, though, I’m changing up our living room with a new rug and coffee table. Our rug is from several years ago and is shag, so it’s getting a bit mangey. Plus, it’s smaller than I wanted for the space, so when I found this one on sale for 50% off last weekend, I couldn’t resist! Our coffee table is an old Ikea table that Mike has disliked since the second we moved in, so I’m going to try something else to see if it works better for us. I’ll share the results on Instagram, once the space is finished!

Speaking of living spaces, don’t you want to just post up right here with a good book? It’s so beautiful!

This is such a cute, budget-friendly bag for Spring!

It’s supposed to be pretty mild here this weekend, so I’m hoping to finally be able to wear my new jacket.
