My Most-Worn Lip Colors

I used to be a chapstick-only kind of girl. Putting on lipstick was reserved for very special occasions, which didn’t happen very often! You can still find me with this lip mask on most days when I’m just around the house, but I’ve definitely turned into a lipstick-in-public kind of girl. Occasionally, usually when I’m strolling the aisles of Target or Ulta, I randomly grab a lip product that catches my eye. I have a pretty good collection of colors and brands, but I still come back to my favorites, time and again. I love a good pink, as you’ll see by my picks in this post. I will either opt for a longwear, bolder color, or go for a really natural, sheer option.
Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Baci
This one was my first foray into long-wear liquid lipstick. It applies smooth, although sometimes I need to scrape a bit of the product onto the edge of the tube before applying. It truly does last all day, especially if you keep it looking fresh with applying some clear lip balm when it starts to look dry or you want to revive the color! I can eat meals, talk, go about my normal daily activities and will still have color on my lips by time evening rolls around.

NARS Orgasm Afterglow Lip Balm
I love this one for days when I’m either dressed pretty casual or am looking for just a little bit of color to brighten up my face. It is hydrating, really comfortable to wear, and does a great job enhancing your natural lip color for a pretty, subtle look.

It’s hard to find that perfect pink. You know, the one that complements your skin tone, hair color, and makeup just right. This one is that pink for me! I love this one for when I’m feeling a bolder pop of color, but don’t want to do red.

If I had to pick just one lipstick to wear for the rest of my life, this is it. I love everything about this one! The color is fantastic for adding a little bit of color but still looking super natural. It’s a sheer finish, so I don’t feel overdone or like I have a bunch of product on my lips. It’s hydrating and the color wears off naturally – no weird “lip liner” look left behind. I’m almost through with my first tube and already have a backup in my makeup drawer for when I need it. I’m seriously considering getting a couple more to keep on hand, just in case the color is ever discontinued! Fun fact: this is the lipstick I wore on our wedding day!

So at your recommendation, I got the "Christmas pack" of Stila lip stains! I love them, though some of the colors look way more pretty on you than me. I put on Baci this morning having seen you wear it, but it made me look washed out. So I put Patina on top of it and it looks gorgeous. Though not at all what it looks like on you which is funny. So pretty though.

Baci pulls gray on my lips and makes me look washed out too. Patina is by far my favorite!

I bought Nars Afterglow Lip Balm and loved it. I just ordered Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick in Patina. Can’t wait for it to arrive from Ulta – thank you so much for the recommendations
