Hello and Happy first Friday of February! January was the month that went on forever, but now we’re already a week into this month and I need time to slow down. It felt good to get back into the swing of things yesterday after our family trip to The Bahamas. We had a great time together and enjoyed some warm weather! Mike and I have made an effort to do some sort of tropical/warm weather vacation in January/February the last couple years and it is the best. Getting to escape winter and breathe in some saltwater air for a couple days is good for the soul! We’re in full on moving mode now, with less than two weeks to get our house packed up and ready and line things up down in North Carolina. You’d think with all the moves that I’ve done (I think I’m up to 7 in the last 9 years…) that I’d remember just how many things go into moving, but I’m a bit overwhelmed by it all. We made our joint list of things to get done and are working our way through them — it will all get done! I’ll feel better once I’ve made some more progress on packing this weekend, that’s for sure.

The softest sweatpants ever are still available for just $25! I ordered these last week during the sale and am so glad that I have another pair in my rotation. I already had them in grey and black, but this coral color was too fun not to add! I wear them in an XS (the fit is roomy, so go with your normal size or consider one size down, if you go between sizes) and can still comfortably wear XS with a 26 week baby bump body. I also picked up this duster and this one, both of which are 40% off. I love dusters like this to wear with dresses or shorts and tops when the weather starts to warm up!

I woke up to a growling stomach at about 3am, so I grabbed something to eat and had some time to read more in my current novel, Dear Wife. I’m not too far into it, but it caught my attention very early on! If you’re looking for a new suspense/thriller, I think this one should end up being a good one.

If you’re looking for a good face sunscreen for everyday or an upcoming warm weather trip, I can’t recommend this one enough! I didn’t get an ounce of sun (which was my goal!) while in The Bahamas – it protects really well and doesn’t cause any issues with my skin.

Did you see the latest boxes available at Elisabeth Ashlie? Our Surprise Grab Bag Boxes have been going quickly – over $100 worth of products that are discontinued or low in inventory for just $50!

I loved hearing from you that you enjoyed this blog post about what I’m thinking for our new home! I’ve got more of these posts coming up, with our master bedroom and nursery concepts coming next.

Have a great weekend!
