On Tuesday, May 19th, we welcomed our son into the world! Liam Jeffrey was born at 8:19pm, weighing in at 8 pounds 6 ounces. His birth, especially the first moments of us meeting him, are memories that I will cherish forever. We spent the next day and a half in the hospital recovering and then were able to bring him home on Thursday. Those first moments seeing him open his eyes, hearing his cries, and getting to bond with him are some of the sweetest moments of my life, hands down.
I will share more of his birth story and our experience in a future post, but wanted to quickly (and formally) introduce him to you now! The first few days of parenthood have been everything from exhausting and challenging to joyful and fun. Mike and I are endlessly grateful for a healthy baby boy and these first few days of being a family of three.
It’s surreal that this little squish was in my belly just one week ago and now he is on the outside with us! I can’t wait to share more, as we settle into our life together. Thank you for cheering us on as we enter into this next stage of life as a family of three.

As a long time follower I am so happy for you both! Little boys are so special. Cherish every moment, and always remember “this too shall pass”. When you are in the midst of whatever stage he is in, good or bad, while it seems to last an eternity in those moments, you will realize later it is but a blink of the eye. My baby boy is 20 and I remember his birth like it was yesterday!
