One of the best things that I’ve done for myself recently is to make time to be active. As a new mom trying to figure out balancing a career with an infant, my fitness took a back seat to everything else in life. I was okay with it because I knew it was temporary and how I needed to prioritize my time, but it feels so good to be able to add exercise back into my routine!
Nearly every morning, I take Liam on a 30-40 minute walk. I can’t stress just how good it feels to move my body first thing in the morning. A couple times a week, I try to make time for a more intense workout, just for me. While it can be hard to make the time for it, I’m always glad that I did!
With exercising comes the need for activewear! While I’m not too concerned about what I wear on our morning walks, I definitely need the right gear for my intense workouts. Having pieces that are supportive, comfortable, and designed to move with me is essential. The new Formotion line at Adidas provides just that. The collection is designed for women, by women. They utilized body mapping and motion studies to design each item, allowing for maximum movement with support. When you look at the pieces, you can see the different lines which are areas of compression. The items fit snug, but they don’t feel restrictive or uncomfortable.
I’m wearing the studio bra in black, the training Formotion tank top in wild pink, and the Formotion sculpt tights in black. My sneakers are the ultraboost 21 shoes and I’ve worn them every day since they arrived! They provide great support and I love the pop of color against the white.
If you’re in the market for new activewear, I recommend browsing the collection. If you’re in need of a little motivation to get your body moving, new clothes usually do the trick for me!
