to show my lack of respect for winter and the fact that it’s still hanging around these parts, i’m breaking the rules and wearing white. take that, 17 degrees and 20 mph winds. but seriously, i can’t tell you how tired i am of wearing my winter wardrobe. my mom and i are headed to Florida in just a few weeks so my mind is fully on spring/summer clothes. an easy way to start the transition into spring (assuming the weather cooperates) is to pair wintry items with spring items. white pants? spring. blush-colored poncho? winter meets spring. put them together and it’s a match made in heaven.
i’m fairly confident that this poncho will be used many a time this spring. i can already picture it with cutoff shorts and wedges or part of a similar look like this one.
