helloooooo. welcome to monday. i hope you had a great weekend – i know i did! it was one of those weekends where i had big ole plans to get a lot of stuff done since i’m heading out of town later this week, but ended up getting about 10% of it done. so, today will be…fun.
let’s have a little chat about closet staples, shall we? one of the easiest kinds of outfits you can put together is one made of the staples, and it’s even better if it turns into a Canadian tuxedo 😉 i love a good button-up shirt. they’re classic yet casual, so they’re easy to style a variety of ways. for a weekend, i like to pair it with my favorite pair of jeans. to add a little somethin’ somethin’ to the look, i opted for a fun bucket bag and trendy lace-up flats. for spring, those two are going to be staples for me.
i like having a good mix of classic, easy-to-style items and trendy/statement pieces. it makes getting dressed in the morning a little more fun because i can mix and match a bunch of things that i love to wear and find new ways to use them.
