I feel like many of you can relate that shopping for guys (husbands, dads, in-law’s) typically requires the most creativity! I’m surrounded by men who either don’t really want anything (not a bad thing!) or already have everything they want. I always have to rack my brain to try to come up with thoughtful and useful gifts for them.
Here are some ideas, if you find yourself in a similar situation:
I usually err on the side of function when it comes to these gifts. A head lamp (seriously, Mike loves this thing!), portable charger, or can insulator may not be the most exciting gifts in the world, but they are things that can be used over and over again. For Mike, I can usually do okay on the clothing/accessories side of things, like a nice vest or warm winter hat. If you have a guy that likes golf, this mini putting green could be a fun thing that he wouldn’t buy for himself!
Other gift ideas:
- A Starbucks gift card with a Yeti
- A subscription to Audible, Spotify, or similar
- An Amazon gift card – not exciting, but you can find just about anything on Amazon
- A day off! I know Mike would love to have a whole day to himself to do whatever he wants to do.
