Hello! This is the first official Coffee Conversations of 2023 and I can’t believe we’re already about halfway through the month. This week was all about transitioning back into reality after Christmas break and our trip to Mexico. We had such a great time on our vacation, but I was looking forward to coming home and getting back into a bit of a routine too!
I have 2 goals for 2023. The first is to read 20 books this year. I love reading at night before bed, so I think it will be doable. I also started enjoying audiobooks a couple months ago, so I’m going to include those in my number. While I’m not going to have quite as much time on my hands in the evenings once the babies are born, I think 20 is a reasonable, achievable goal! If you’re on Goodreads, let’s be friends! My second goal is to not slack on making appointments for myself. I’m truly terrible at making appointments for things — I just put it off for as long as I can. BUT, I’ve been adopting the practice of making my next appointment when I leave the current appointment and it’s been great! I have my next facial, hair appointment, and prenatal massage already scheduled out for 2023. They can always be changed or canceled, but at least the intention is there to go to the services!
